The facility is quite new, and as expected, it is quite nice. I expect that it is a nice place to live.
However, my beef is with the lack of honesty when they deny your application for independent living, quoting me HIPAA reasons that they cannot discuss the reason for "turning down an applicant." I do not blame them for turning down the application, but don't lie to me regarding it.

I've worked in the medical world for 21 years now. I received annual HIPAA trainings for all those years. I've had access to patient records for most of those years. There is zero protected health information involved with independent living. I know at least a little bit of what goes on with PHI.

What was her position??? I don't remember her name. The Executive _______? Well, she caused quite the family turmoil here. She lied to me, and then others think I am lying to them when I tell them the reason I was given, and from what I was told, she gave the other party involved different, more accurate information which I should have just been told right from the beginning. I value honesty unlike perhaps most of the public. So, you get a grade "2" out of "5". Or keep your lies consistent.

Edit: I started reading reviews, and I guess there is a newer executive director now vs when I originally applied. This review would apply to the previous one. This review would apply to 2023 or 2024 time frame. I do not want to get the wrong person in trouble here.
