Went to the open house today. The security guard greeted me and told me to wait for the lady that was in charge of the open house to have me sign in. I waited and waited after three minutes. I signed myself in. She was still engaging and talking to people, she looked dead at me did not greet me did not say anything. I then walked in. She still continue to ignore me and didn’t address me didn’t say hello. Didn’t say welcome or anything. So I walked away and I kind of took it as because of my complexion because everybody was looking at me everybody seen me and she didn’t greet me and I was the only person of color that was there so I’m gonna take it that this lady had a problem with people of color and if you have a problem with folks that look like me then you should not be the greeter nor be the host of the open house. My money is green just like anybody else’s money and I wasn’t there for myself. I was there looking for a place that I would want my family member to live at but if you got racist people working there especially management I don’t want my family be a part of that. This place should look into the host the manager, whatever she was for the open house because she is not welcoming to people of color and that’s a shame. We live in a day and age that there’s a lot of us and we should not be judged on our complexion. People don’t got time for that. I’m sorry that you’re miserable in your life and your life might not be right, but I have nothing to do with that. I love myself. I love my complexion and I love who I am and I’m really getting tired of people in their racist views and they’re holding certain positions and Working with the community. Horrible horrible horrible horrible people.
