By far the most unprofessional social worker I have ever delt with. We called and left messages for 3 weeks trying to get any information we could pertaining to a loved one that was admitted. Instead of spending 30 seconds to return your call just to give you basic information like which family member needs to be contacted for medical questions, she just ignored us..... It took us leaving a rude message (3 weeks later) for her to finally call back. When you trust your love ones to these people in their most vulnerable states you don't expect one of their key personnel to act like a high school girl avoiding an ex-boyfriend.... It was such a bad stain on their image because they have some extraordinary nurses and nursing aides. The activites staff is great as well.

I loved seeing my dear friend. I only wish that her shared room had more than a curtain separating her from her roommate. A movable accordion-type wall divider suspended from the ceiling would offer a greater sound barrier and greater privacy. I was aware of how close my friend and I were to her roommate and wondered if our talking might have been bothersome. I was impressed with how the staff handled my friend who tried to move herself from her bed to her wheelchair and fell onto her wheelchair. Staff came rather quickly when I informed them that my friend was about to end up on the floor. They were compassionate while letting her know she should not try to move herself without assistance. They told her in a non-judgmental and kind way.

My mom was there since 06/25 - 11/25 when she died. Staff nurses and aides and physical therapists were always kind and helpful. Extremely short staffed sometimes. We were content knowing she was safe although we hoped to get her back home. There were always activities and she enjoyed Bingo. My only complaint is that on 3 separate occasions someone stole cash from her wallet which was inside her purse in drawer.

My mom and dad had the BEST care at LVG. They were treated with dignity and respect. The staff is friendly and responsive to all their needs. They are professional and do their best to make LVG feel like a home. I would highly recommend LVG to any family making a decision about elder care. We always walked away from any visit with confidence that our mom and dad would be treated with the same care we would give them.
