Administration there is a nightmare. They may act like they care to your face, but behind your back they truly don't, they don't treat the residents there well at all. You got to remember some people have dementia and they're not going to know they're being treated bad or how to report it. Some don't have families. If you have a loved one in there you make appearances numerous times a week, your loved one will be treated better. They'll be first one up in the morning and dressed. It's all for show. Someone alone in there or with dementia and no family will be put last in line with everything. There will be treated second class. The administration literally needs an overhaul. Some of them are out right nasty. Don't let them fool you. I can guarantee you these five stars are their family and friends. You can tell a difference when you read them. Most of these five star reviews are not real

I had a wonderful experience at Leroy Manor Adult Home when I visited my cousin. The staff were incredibly responsive and attentive to the residents’ needs. They truly care about the people who live there. I was especially impressed by how they keep the residents engaged and active with a variety of wonderful activities.

The Assisted Living Program is well run and focused on resident-centered care. The team works collaboratively to support residents’ medical, personal, and social needs while promoting independence. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable, and the environment is welcoming and supportive.

I know people want to take their love ones to a place to have them cared for. But this isn’t the place. This place caused my grandmothers death in 2014. My family sued and won a settlement of $42,000. My grandmother hated it after a few months but we were not in a position to take her out and have her live with us. She had developed dementia before we put her in this place. This place allowed her to fall onto a wheel chair which caused her a brain hemorrhage which put her in a vegetated state of mind where later we had to pull the plug on her. Some of the staff are horrible human beings. Especially this one black lady. I could tell from my grandmothers reaction that this black lady was mistreating her. Plus the fact my grandmother mention it too. This place failed to call us when she fell down. They stuffed her body back into her bed for 2 days. This happen on a Tuesday. Our family got a call Thursday morning from the ER telling us my grandmother was there. We had rushed down to the ER to see my grandmother. She was barely conscience. We spoke to her very briefly and it was at that point those were her last words as the brain hemorrhage took over. We had gotten all this info of what happen from the hospital and the ambulance company we then filed for FOIA requests for documents. We contacted attorneys in Chicago and sued for as much as we could. I wish we could of sued them to bankrupt them and put them out of business. There are other options out there to put her love ones in and If you do invest in putting small security/ spy cameras in their room so you can see the type of stuff that the staff does to our love ones.
