I absolutely love Legacy Park! My Mother lived in the nursing home area for the last two years of her life after having a serious injury from a fall at her apartment. My family and I were so thankful for the care and love they gave her. I visited her every day and I was so impressed by how well the nurses, CNA'S and staff took excellent care of her. They affectionately called her Mamaw and always made her laugh and smile! They treated her like she was their own Mother or Grandmother and they always greeted me and my sisters with hugs and laughter. I'm so grateful for all of the love and attention they gave her and us. When Mom passed they were there to comfort us and even cried with us. We couldn't have taken care of our Mother as well as they did and I will be forever grateful for them!

My grandmother was here, they offer all private rooms which allowed us privacy during her last days. The staff were compassionate and caring, an older building but is well kept.

My mother was there for 3 1/2 weeks and released this past Friday. Three days after her release we took her back to the hospital where she was diagnosed with sepsis. We asked for blood tests to be run but they never were done.

The building is 50 years old, but they are maintaining it well. The staff work hard to provide exceptional care daily. Some of the employees have been there 20-30 years. My grandmother was there and her dementia was very challenging at times. She was treated with dignity and kindness at all times.

This place is extremely understaffed. While visiting my grandmother here, I witnessed multiple patients call buttons going off for very long periods of time before being answered. We tried to make sure a family member stayed with her during all the hours we were allowed in order to ensure her safety. One of the nurses took away my grandmother's walker one night because he thought that would make her stay in bed. They are lucky she didn't fall as a result of that. The rooms are very dated and not set up well for those with mobility struggles.
