This place is terrible. Most of the staff is incompetent and are quick to argue and catch attitudes. My blood sugar was dangerously low so I asked for some orange juice. I ended up having to go get my own and she returned 45 min later! I told her thank God I went to get my own, O could have died. She quickly got loud and got an attitude and said that she was busy! I almost had an out of body experience right then. This place is the worst. Constantly asking for things and staff never returns with it. Only put your friends and family in this facility if you hate them

the worst nursing home I have ever been in my life. the staff is rude. the food is awful.they do not accommodate any special type of diet. they will leave you sitting for hours waiting for help or to get your medicines or whatever you may be needing.if you try to speak up for yourself and they will find some way to pundish you.the therapy staff is wonderful. They have bugs

To Whom this may concern: I would like to take this opportunity to show my utmost appreciation for the individuals who work at Legacy of Kettering. My brother Christopher Chapman has been a resident there for about 6 years. This is his home, and he loves being there. He is always treated with the greatest respect, kindness and love from the staff there. His personal care has always been excellent. I am in and out of the home as I visit Chris and the atmosphere there is inviting and pleasant. When I visit, I can see the order and the cleanliness of the home. The nurses that I interact with are friendly and professional. I don’t know all the names at the nursing home and no doubt there are some departments and individuals behind the scenes that don’t get the recognition that they deserve. The individuals that I would like to recognize are the ones that have the most impact in his life. When you first walk through the front door, you are greeted by Rhonda Sims the receptionist. She is such a joy and makes you feel welcome. Chris loves to take a coffee break and visit with her. Kimberly Brown the Social Worker keeps me posted on every aspect of his personal needs. We speak often and I know that I can depend on her to help me with situations that I cannot handle on my own. Chris can go to her with any problem, and she will try to help him along with communicating with me. Mallorie Jones the Administrator has, in addition to her already massive workload has helped Chris with situations in which he doesn’t understand why they are happening to him. She also supports him when he feels like he has been treated unfairly. Amy Rohrbach, Director of Nursing, along with Eric Felton, Assistant Director of nursing, work together to take care of all of Chris’ medical needs. He trusts them as I do to meet his needs that deal with his personal health. When he refuses to cooperate with staff or has a minor fall, I am called about the situation. Megan Williams, Business Office Manager, has been so helpful with all his financial needs. I can go to her office, and she takes the time to resolve a problem I don’t understand. Emily Settle the Activities Director keeps Chris involved in fun activities throughout the week. When I go to visit Chris, he and other residents enjoy a variety of activities. He seems so happy, and this keeps him socially involved. Emily the Nurse Practitioner that works For Optim Health, (I don’t know her last name) keeps me updated on Chris’ progress every time she sees him at the nursing home. I’m sure these individuals do much more for Chris than I even realize. I just can’t say enough good things about them. Legacy of Kettering should be so proud to have them as employees. Sincerely Karon Miller

My mom is a current resident. I am so pleased with the facility! It’s maintained, clean, and welcoming! Exceptional staff all around. She has been well cared for by the nurses, aides, and the therapy department. They have been engaging and have provided respect, compassion, and dignity. Administration has been responsive to our concerns and have answered questions. Very friendly! Mom truly enjoys the weekly activities and socialization. Loves the library visits! Legacy of Kettering has put our family at ease. It’s not easy to leave your mom daily but I feel confident that she is in good hands! There is a lot of kindness and laughter! Maria Lemons/daughter

If I could leave zero stars I would I would never ever in 1 million years. Send someone you love or care about to this place all the patients have bedsores. The nurses are very mean to the patients My dad went to this nursing home, and they treated him very poorly management does not care about your family members at all. All they care about is money. The things that I have witnessed at this place is unreal. And a few nurses that actually treat the patients right quit because they couldn’t deal with seeing the abuse that the patients were going through If you send your loved one to this place, you clearly do not care about them legacy of Kettering is a horrible place
