***TO ANY FUTURE RESIDENTS EVEN THINKING ABOUT THIS PLACE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE***April 2026 Health inspection = 13 deficiencies (giving insulin against doc orders, not notifying family of resident transfers to hospital, paint peeling near open food prep, unsanitary rooms/holes in walls and bathrooms, ignoring multiple resident and family complaints, unsafe fire hazards)*** and THIS:<br>"Genesis PM PA Operations LLC" is the direct owner of this facility, while the shell company that gets paid directly from your Medicare is "900 Tuck Street Operations LLC", yet they're both under the "Genesis Healthcare" (filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy 2025), which in 2026 sold their facilities to "NewGen Health" with court filings referencing approx $259MILLION in claims/liabilities (AKA LAWSUITS!). Head spinning yet? It's intentional. Look them up and you'll see why they do nothing to improve care or "nurse" attitudes. They are FOR-profit, NOT FOR-patients, and bankrupt!<br>In 2025 they had 15 total deficiencies (food handling, INFECTION control, resident care, medication) during ONE inspection, when most nursing homes average 6-7, not to mention their higher than normal staff turnover rate (60.6%). This facility is way below the average!<br>ORIGINAL REVIEW still stands:<br>If your loved one needs ANY thing, they'll be met with rolled eyes and attitude. Staff has no bedside manner and view family as a problem if they try to advocate or help. As a nurse who comes from a family of nurses and medical professionals, this place makes me sad to see the level of contempt the staff seems to have for families and our loved ones. Horrific! My mother has been there 11 1/2 years and it was wonderful for the first 9 years. She is currently in the ICU due to sepsis from a once again undiagnosed UTI. I can never reach anyone when I have a concern and the only one that calls me is the nurse practitioner, Eric. Eric is the only person there I can trust to keep me informed. The management there is a revolving door. I have filled out concern forms in the past and no one follows up with me. According to her nurse at the hospital she has had a huge weight loss! She can no longer feed herself due to her hand contractures. They document she is eating 100% but we know that is not possible. I begged for therapy to do something about her hands to no avail. If she survives this hospitalization she will need surgery on her hands due to the open areas she has developed. I have not once received a call from a therapist or any update regarding her hands. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!! If not for the fact that my mother is bariatric and on medical assistance I would have moved her to another facility.
