The staff at Juniper Village is outstanding. My Mom received excellent care while at the facility. She recently transferred to an assisted living facility closer to me, and they couldn’t have made it any easier or been more helpful. Erin, Amy, Karrianne, Kayla, Janet and the whole staff have gone above and beyond for my 96-year old Mom during her 4 years at the community! I recommend it wholeheartedly for your loved one.

Update 8/2/26: Just over two years ago, we used the service “A Place for Mom” to find Juniper Village as a new residence for our mother, who has been suffering from dementia for years now. Finding a safe and comfortable place for a family member who does not recognize their need for assistance is not a simple or easy process. This situation was compounded by the death of a spouse. Juniper Village has been and continues to be that place for our family – where we know our mother is safe and well cared for.

As our mother’s ability to manage daily tasks and interactions continually diminishes, we are grateful for the constant 24-hour care and support of the entire staff at Juniper Village at Lebanon. I have managed to build a wonderful rapport with the administrative and nursing staff. They have worked with me to help me be supportive and best negotiate the challenges of working with a cognitively/memory-impaired loved one. The nurses have helped me get her ready for outings to different places and to make sure she has all of her needs met. The staff equally does all they can to keep her safe (e.g. like encouraging her to use her walker) and ensuring her privacy by not giving out information to non-family members. As her skills decline, and will continue to decline, Juniper’s staff has worked with our family to keep the right amount of care available to ensure her health and safety.

Juniper plans lots of visits from therapy pets, which my mother enjoys. The team also plans lots of senior outings and takes the residents to different locations to eat out and shop. I am frequent visitor and take my mother out for different outings that put a smile on her face. We go to local favorites that include ice cream with a farm animal petting-zoo setting, crepes and teas, and local Mennonite restaurants. My mother’s room includes a large refrigerator and freezer, which allows us to bring treats and leftovers back from our outings.

Residents can and do have phones in their rooms, both cell and room phones, if one chooses. We did this for a while, but my mom sadly reached the point where she did not recognize any of the people (friends) programmed into it. This was a hard moment, but one that Juniper has helped us negotiate as they work to keep her safe, healthy, and happy. There are activities planned to keep the residents engaged, and residents are encouraged to participate and develop social ties, but ultimately each person decides if they can and want to attend activities.

We are relieved to have our family member safely settled at Juniper Village in Lebanon. Missy and Erin were, and continue to be, so helpful, knowledgeable, and empathetic in regard to the challenges involved in finding a place that is a good fit. The room, the staff, and the variety of activities have all been wonderful, and have provided social interactions and care she so desperately needed. We highly recommend Juniper Village.

Erin W who answers the phone is such a wonderful person. She is so incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive. I often deal with nasty people in customer service but this employee has been such a breath of fresh air. She deserves all the recognition in the world for her work! Someone get this lady a raise!!!

I have a friend who lives there and as I live out of state, I try to call her on the main number (she doesn’t have her own phone—another terrible negative). The people who answer the main number are, for the most part, terribly un-helpful and unfriendly! It seems like my friend has been imprisoned!
