If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is riddled with elder abuse, staff who have zero empathy and upper management who truly could care less what goes on within the facility as long as their pockets are lined. It is absolutely heartbreaking that these residents are in the last few years of life and are treated like animals, overly medicated and no longer have a say in their own lives. My grandfather has been not only mentally abused by CNA's, LPN's and RN's but also was physically assaulted and NOTHING WAS EVER DONE. I understand being short staffed and burnt out, but when do we draw the line between that and staff who were never suited to provide care to people in the first place. This place is inhumane and utterly disgusting in my opinion and clearly several others. They should be ashamed that this is what is considered care and should REALLY revaluate unless a hefty lawsuit is what they're looking for. DO BETTER.

edit: It is worth noting that management has not responded to any negative reviews. Their responses appear limited to positive feedback, which speaks directly to the way this establishment is managed.

On day #2 of bringing my dear cousin Patsy to Cedar Haven I am very impressed with how involved management is with the move in. The staff on her floor has also gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and willing to accommodate her needs. I feel comfortable leaving her there.
