My mother has been a resident of the Laurels several times in the last 12 years. She just returned home from her third short term rehab stay and she loves it at the Laurels. They treat her like family, and therapy even treats her at thru home health. The nurses, aides, therapists help her every time she has surgery to get her stronger so she can get back home. She develops friendships that have lasted this whole time.

Laurels’s nursing, thank you for the compassionate care you provide for my husband.The kindness, patience, and respect shown every day truly mades a difference. The care and attention given by the entire staff here has been exceptional. From the nurses to the support staff, everyone has shown genuine compassion, professionalism, and respect. Communication was always clear, and our loved one is treated with dignity and kindness. It gives our family peace of mind knowing our loved one is in good hands. We are incredibly grateful to the Laurels staff for the support and care given to my husband, during this time.

PT, OT, and speech therapists are great. Progressing very well. The nurses are a different story. There’s a woman here with short black hair that has a very nasty tone. She does not care about patient bedside manner. Watch out for her. Other than that, my mom has had an okay experience.

I’m hopefully in the unusual position of having both my Dad and my brother at The Laurels at the same time. I just want to thank everyone there ! They are taking such good care of both of them. You can pay someone to take care of them, but you can’t pay someone to care ABOUT them ! Every time someone new comes in contact with my Dad or brother (from aides, to nurses, to rehab staff, to administrators, to cleaning staff, to drivers, cafeteria folks and more) I think to myself they can’t possibly be as nice and as good at their job as the last person. Yet somehow they are ! When I visit and it’s time to leave, that can be hard, especially with my 93 year old Dad. But it makes a huge difference when I have such confidence that my loved ones will be cared for AND ABOUT till I can visit again. It takes special people and special hearts to do what everyone there does every day. THANK YOU !
