My mother has recently passed and was a resident of Langdon Place of Dover for 15 years. She started out in Independent Living with my father. They moved to Assisted Living when their need for nursing assistance increased, and my mom stayed there long after my father passed. For the last three and a half months of her life she was in the Memory Care unit. I can’t say enough about the quality of care she received, the loving way that care was delivered, the clear communication every step of the way and the niceness of the facility itself. So many nurses, LPN’s, home health care aids and administrative staff went above and beyond for the care and comfort of my beloved mom. I am hesitant to name names for fear of missing someone and I don’t generally know last names, but I do have to call out the unsurpassed kindnesses of Lynn and Lois, nurses Sarah and the two Donna’s who mostly worked on the second floor (one of the Donna’s now works in Administration, I believe…she’s fabulous), the overnight nurse from the second floor whose name escapes me (full of personality and LOVED my mom), Heather, Director of Nursing and the other Heather, Manager of Nursing who frequently worked in the memory care unit and who answered my numerous questions and distributed deep care and concern for my mom, Marie, another nurse who cared so lovingly for my mom, especially as she lay dying, and finally the two wonderful young women both named Emma who helped my mom with her personal care needs and more in memory care. One of the two Emmas confessed she cried when my mom passed. Now THAT is care and love. And finally, my heartfelt thanks to Susan Putney who has been at Langdon Place for as long as my mom was there. Susan’s professionalism, efficiency, communication and kindness when it mattered most will never be forgotten. Thank you all so very much. You made a difference in my mom’s life and you made a difference in mine. Five stars all the way.

My 91 year old dad was recovering from a fall in the Langdon Rehab when we decided it was best for him to move into their assisted living wing. He loved the PT there and all the attention he received from the nurses and aids. We also appreciated the support we received from the admin staff Mary Johnson, Kelly Degan and Susan Putney. They are all compassionate professionals willing to spend time with me thinking through what was best for my dad’s individual situation.

From the first time I played music there with 3 Shades of Gray I said "If I Ever have a need or want to reside in a Seniors Residency, THIS is where I WANT to be!" You can feel the Love and Compassion from Both, the Staff and the Residents. You almost immediately become Friends with everyone there. Heather does an Incredible job with so many activities there is No Time to be bored. It is, and always has been our Favorite Place to perform Music. I highly recommend Langdon Place of Dover with 10 STARS!!!

My mom was at Langdon Place of Dover for 3 years - most of the time spent in assisted living and then transferred to Memory Care. She received excellent care while she was there and there were many different activities for her to participate in. The meals were very good. Langdon Place is reasonably priced for the excellent care received. We are grateful to have found Langdon Place of Dover for my mom.

I very much enjoy collaborating with Langdon Place of Dover's independent, assisted and memory care when client's of mine are considering them for senior living. The community is always clean and inviting, the residents look so comfortable, active and happy. The apartments are very large and affordable for the care, oversight and all that is included. Leadership is very engaged in resident life and quality of care. Thanks, Langdon Place of Dover, Sarah Coletti
