While not the fanciest of places, it is clean and the caregivers are so very nice. I have my sister and my nephew there. Medications are done on time, showers, meals, housekeeping, laundry all well taken care of. The owner Madilyn is so very sweet and helpful.

I put my mother in Lakewood after 3 years of her living in way more expensive and ‘nicer’ homes. I will say the other places may have been newer and sometimes cleaner, but my mother was happier here. There is a homey feel here. The other places were so sterile. Here all the residents knew each other, did activities together (as opposed to being wheeled in front of the TV all day). I would make the same choice again. Plus it’s WAY more affordable than any other.

This place is filthy and should be shut down!!!! Take your loved one some place else!!!

Please put your lives one some place else. These people are terrible. The staff is always angry and never willing to help. The food is not even food. They treat the residents horribly. Someone needs to report them to the health department to do a visit. I am 100 percent sure they will not get a good review.<br><br>Just pick another place!!

Do not put your love ones here!!! One smell of the place and you know exactly what is going on. It is dirty and they are not nice to the residents. Family owned and neglected. The food is horrible. Please do your research. This place is not fit for a dog.
