I recently went through the hiring process with Cornerstone and had a very disappointing experience. I had already completed an orientation with them a few months ago, and at that time I was told something completely different about being able to work between offices. Now, suddenly, there’s a “new policy,” and I was expected to sit through another unpaid orientation with no acknowledgment of the time I already invested. When I explained to Jordan that I had a client scheduled and wasn’t prepared for another unpaid session, the response I received was dismissive and lacked any understanding of my situation. Instead of working with me or offering any flexibility, Jordan immediately ended the process. It’s frustrating to be told one thing months ago, invest your time, and then be treated as if your concerns don’t matter. Consistency and communication are important in caregiving, and unfortunately, I didn’t experience either here.
