I spent 100 days at Lake Ridge and I had such a wonderful time there. The staff were so amazing and kind. The staff are very hard workers and I can best describe this nursing home as a well oiled machine. They are very professional and so compassionate about their job. I have been to other nursing homes due to the nature of my condition. This is by far the best. I saw staff helping their coworkers tending to the needs of their patients. I love the pastor who made me feel so welcome. He’s a skilled musician and a great singer. I made lots of friends with staff and residents alike. I had such a wonderful time there that I honestly hated to leave. I give them a 5 star rating easily.

I only have great things to say about Lake Ridge Care Center and their hospice unit. They took excellent care of our loved one as she suffered from incurable cancer. I’m thankful for their caring staff. Highly recommend.

Absolutely do not bring a loved one here! My grandpa was here for 8 days before he passed away. My father and I were at this place every single day with him (who knows what would’ve happened if we wouldn’t have been!) Upon arrival I had to ask them to clean out a few things in the room they said was ready. My grandpa hadn’t had a shower for a few days after he was there and they said they were “short staffed.” On another occasion, I asked the nursing staff to check on my grandpa as I was leaving that day, there were FOUR nurses standing around laughing on their cellphones. My grandpa said they only came “sometimes” when he would press the button on his bed for assistance. His room was also the closest to the nursing station. And to top it off, when my dad went to pick up my grandpa’s belongings after he passed - some person at the front just pointed to my grandpa’s room - they put his stuff on his bed where he passed. No compassion! Absolutely horrendous. Whoever runs this place should be absolutely ashamed.

Terrible place for rehab. Staff there was terrible. They cut me off after 28 days and I was there for six months and got nothing. They claimed it was because of Medicare and it had nothing to do with Medicare. This was all going to be billed through workman's comp. I also broke a tooth on food that they served and they refused to go and pay for the fixing of it. The staff otherwise was great. I am so full of BS and they gave it right back to me. It was great. Only problem is that they were so understaffed that they worked them to death. I felt so sorry for them. Overall I would never go back to this place. I would go to Centracare in Monticello. If you're for rehab go there.

This place is a nightmare. Short staffed. Rude staff who yells in patients faces. They ran out of supplies for things like catheter bags, bandages, bandage tape. My father was sent here for rehab ended up in hospital twice from their neglect and is now home on hospice care from that neglect..If your loved one is in need of LTC, Hospice or rehab please do not send them here.
