As a professional Community Liaison, I am visiting memory care communities daily and the team at Lake Haven Memory Care truly stands out for their dedication to person-centered care. During my visits, I am consistently impressed by how the caregivers anticipate residents needs with empathy, particularly for those with advanced dementia. Their approach to redirection in calming techniques is best-in-class, focusing on dignity rather than restriction. The staff-to-resident ratio is excellent, and it's clear they are not just caring for residents, but engaging with them on a personal level.

I go into several different facilities as a home health nurse and I love going to Lake Haven. Katie is absolutely fabulous to work with and always willing to do whatever is needed for residents. She always stays in communication with me to provide updates. And an added plus that the facility is beautiful! I would highly recommend

The staff at Lake Haven are some of the most caring and involved I have worked with in the past 4 years in all of south east WI. If I had to place a family member in a facility this one would be the top of my list. Katie goes above and beyond to make sure her residents are well cared for.

As a local senior care advisor, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Lake Haven and support families navigating memory care decisions. The team at Lake Haven is responsive, easy to collaborate with, and truly cares about creating a supportive environment for residents and families. I especially appreciate that they are a strong option for individuals who need a secure setting but are still fairly independent—something that can be harder to find. They are also a good fit for individuals living with dementia at all stages, from those in the earlier phases who benefit from structure and support, to those needing more hands-on care as their needs progress. I value having Lake Haven as a trusted partner and resource in our local senior care community.

I have heard nothing but amazing things about this living community at Brookdale of Kenosha! I have personally worked with their sales manager Yvette who is prompt, informative, and easy to work with. Yvette ensures that working with her, you’re in safe hands; she truly cares. Highly recommend touring and checking Brookdale out if you’re needing placement of your loved one in an assisted living. Keep up the great work Brookdale!
