Recently, I was released from a hospital and I had to do my Rehab. I chose Lake City Rehab due to having to take a IV antibiotic three times a day and 24 hour care . Lake City Rehab and staff from House Keeping right on up to administration even the nurses were just outstanding. I want to thank personally, Dina and Nina for all they did for me By getting me there into Rehab there they treated me like royalty great food great care. I would recommend this place number one from all towns. If you have a love one that needs care take them here to Lake City Rehab and 24 hour care you won’t regret it. I guarantee it . David Terrell PA looks after his patients there and if you do not have a good PA doctor I recommend you to go see him and his staff they make a # 1 Team right behind The First Federal Bank on Highway 90 in Lake City Florida he was assisted to Dr Alex Gonzales for a long time until he started his own clinic with his wife. Why bother go elsewhere in Lake City , Live Oak, Dowling Park , Madison or Gainesville even Jacksonville for care and Rehab. Lake City Rehab and Healthcare Facilityis where you need to go . They both are jammed up even their staff is wonderful. They treat you like family and not like strangers . Many doctors and Medical Staff treat you like a number get you in get you out they don’t have time to talk to you Not David Terrell and his staff . He has an open ear and patience to talk to you That’s even from the staff at Lake City Rehab and Healthcare and the facility is like a five star hotel, not a rehab or a nursing home. They have all your rehab needs from IV to Physical therapy.

A well-managed, clean facility with friendly and efficient staff whom strive daily for the best overall patient care services including rehabilitation. Many of the team management staff have been there for years and are the best in the business. Happily and confidently recommend.

My husband has been there for 11 days and, so far, I am pleased with both his care and therapy. The staff listened to my concerns and addressed them in a timely manner. Everyone has been very pleasant.

I would highly recommend this facility for anyone needing rehab or skilled nursing services. My mom had a few stays here and received the best nursing care. Her favorite nurse was Lisa. The therapy department was fantastic. They were able to help my mom get stronger than her prior baseline. This is our facility of choice for any future stays that may be needed.

Where the heck did the 5 star ratings come from? They obviously were blinded to what was really happening. No exaggeration... I have literally waited 2.5 hours for a nurse after I hit the call light that I had to find myself. Waited another hour for the nurse for nothing. Oh, this has happened a few more times, although not as long as a wait, maybe half an hour to an hour. I was vomiting sick, for 6 days. I see a pattern tho. And I'm not calling anyone out. I'll just say that a nurse or nursing assistant (or two) has come in to turn the call light off, ask what I want and disappear. Some of the staff is friendly. BTW, I was there for physical therapy. Ha. EDIT: I called both the nursing supervisor and admissions while I was a patient there and never got a call back from either one. I guess the nursing supervisor knew I was going to complain. Turns out that I had a bad concussion that wasn't healing right. That's where the vomiting and severe headaches came from. Thanks for the Tylenol tho. Maybe next time call the doctor! Ended up in Shands for 5 days. Seriously, I wasn't sure if I should call 911 from my room or tough it out. I couldn't take it, my daughter came and got me. This is the truth. 0/10 Do not recommended.
