Our father's last 5 months were spent at La Posada. The care he received was wonderful and always very timely. He felt at ease from the time he moved there and even enjoyed the food! The view from his room and the outdoor patios were favorites. During his final two days family members, unable to be there, offered their memories via phone, saying goodbye, and assuring him. We are forever grateful for that guidance.

I came to Las Cruces to retire and was in excellent health. I wanted to pay it forward for my excellent transition to Las Cruces and life experiences. I decided to volunteer at the Mesilla Valley Hospice. I am a firm believer in hospice care, and it also allowed me to volunteer in the assisted living section of the facility. I was so impressed with this facility. After living in Las Cruces for five years, I suddenly developed multiple myeloma. I knew exactly where I needed to stay, so I am now on the assisted living section called La Posada Assited Living. Everyone, and I do mean everyone in the facility, is extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure that you're comfortable in all aspects. All the chefs in the kitchen will ensure that the food you eat is healthy and delicious. You can also arrange certain meals and make changes to the menu. The rooms are maintained for cleanliness and personalization, making it your home. They have beautiful garden areas where you can sit and relax. They also have fantastic events and activities that you can partake in. I enjoy sitting in the rooms with fireplaces to feel the warmth of a fire. Since I do not have family close by, everyone here has become a big family for me. This facility is a must to check out for yourself or a loved one.

I’ve been to several assisted living facilities lately and have been very disappointed. I can tell you that La Posada assisted living is the exception to this!!!<br>Not only is this facility extremely clean, the staff is amazing with their care of the patients. They are always so pleasant and the care they give is exceptional and so professional. I’m so appreciative to have this facility and the amazing staff here in Las Cruces. Cudos to all the incredible staff at La Posada!!! 👍
