I drove past the Annapolis facility and witnessed a memory care patient standing alone in a ditch along a busy road. The nurses at the facility were initially very dismissive of the situation, and even laughed off the situation when it was explained to them. Although this was upsetting, I was contacted the next day by management and the owner of La Casa, who seemed concerned and hopeful to avoid a situation like this occurring again.

Words can not express how much La Casa helped my Mom and my entire family. Her health declined quickly and we had to find a memory care facility fast. The first facility was in the state she resided in. My Mom was not only unhappy, she could barely function. Sleeping all the time and very despondent. We decided to bring her to Maryland where we lived, and found La Casa. It was like coming home. The feel of the place felt a lot like how my home felt when I was growing up, full of love and kindness. The staff, along with the medical professionals they have relationships with, completely changed my Mom. She became alert, responsive and most importantly she felt safe and content. After 5 years at La Casa, my Mom passed peacefully. The only thing I miss as much as my Mom is the owner and the staff at La Casa. Lucky for me I can still visit them and will always consider them part of my family. There was no better place for my Mom. I thought those years with my Mom would be lost due to illness, instead La Casa helped me find ways to spend quality time with Mom until the very last day.

You will never find a better place than La Casa. The care Robin and Meredith provide is far beyond anyone's expectations. The patients are happy and well cared for. Clean expansive home, beautiful outside. I would never go anywhere else.

Care consists of putting residents in front of TV and discouraging movement. Very little supervision. Truly atrocious. My father stayed there for a week and the neglect was very clear.

I'm not sure there's ever a good time to need a LaCasa; however, they cannot be recommended enough! Sadly, my best friends' wife was a resident for many years here; thankfully, he found Meredith and this amazing group of folks! Throughout the years, Meredith, Robin and the entire staff provided the utmost care, dignity and respect for not only his wife, but her entire family. In the end, they supported the family above and beyond...and I so appreciate that for them!
