As a registered nurse specializing in hospice and palliative care I've seen the workings of many memory care settings. Staff at Kingston at Dupont not only showed great kindness to my mother-in-law, her husband & family, they did so with some of the best, safest and impressive nursing teams I've seen. From her time as an active resident & a return stay when she needed a short term hospice transition, I can professionally and personally say the place is stellar should you ever have that kind of need.

I want to publicly thank the staff at Kingston Dupont for making my father's transition from another memory care facility to Kingston Dupont easy for, both, him and us. They have already exceeded our expectations with their timeliness, experience, knowledge, and patience with my father's Parkinson's. Having previously experienced incompetent on site PCPs, nurses who can't ensure medication is administered at proper times, unexperienced CNAs who don't know how to handle Parkinson's patients properly, and directors/social workers who have lied to our faces, it is truly refreshing to experience such professionalism. Again, THANK YOU to everyone at Kingston Dupont!

Caring for my husband with advanced dementia just got to be too much for me to do on my own. I soon got to appreciate Kingston at Dupont being a “home to home” transfer (whenever I went to see my husband it was like going to his “home” now, not an institution). It was always a comfortable, relaxing environment. Residents were kept busy with daily activities which I noticed involved mind and physical exercises in an entertaining manner. In short, the residents were not just sequestered in their rooms. They were out in the “gathering space” befriending each. The staff were exceptional. Even though they have to do some unpleasant care taking, that did not affect the way they treated each resident. They remained patient, kind and caring, definitely dedicated to the role of caretaker..
