My grandpa has been here for about 10 months. Staff have been nothing but gracious, communicative, caring, kind, and patient. My grandpa is not an easy case (dementia) and from what I have seen, they are very patient with him and have shown nothing but understanding and patience towards him. Anytime something happens, we are immediately notified. I see the interactions with other patients as well and everyone is very well cared for, treated with kindness and dignity. The staff, nursing team, social workers, and admin have been really great. As soon as a situation occurs, I am immediately notified. They have also taken the time to learn his likes and dislikes to keep him comfortable and at peace. Thank you for everything thus far KCC staff.

Don’t take your loved ones here. This place failed to do follow ups that were requested and lied to us about them being done. Level of care is not even one star, didn’t listen to concerns and ended up with our loved one in the ER getting emergency surgery for some that was brought to staff’s attention weeks prior. Oh and if they tell you that they will call to follow up with your concerns or complaints they won’t. Don’t take your loved ones here. Still waiting to get a call from their head of care and HR to address concerns. building doesn’t have working air conditioning in all spaces. Staff have been heard screaming and laughing at odd hours of night disrupting sleep. Staff fails to log concerns, basic requests from doctors to patients and just seem to be there to collect pay.

Just wanted to say thank you for taking care of my friend’s mom and keeping her at peace from chaos of family members and protecting her. A patient has rights no matter how old or young, to be kept safe. Working in a facility is hard work and I commend the staff for their dedication to care for the elderly when it isn’t easy. They need around the clock care and sometimes family members can not do it. So thank you to the staff there.
