Sierra View has gone the extra mile to accommodate my husband's stay. All of the nursing staff and the administration office are so friendly and are always willing to help! They really try to make the patient's feel special and comfortable. I appreciate everyone's hard work and effort caring for my loved one in skilled nursing! Thank you!

My parents are both residents in skilled nursing at Sierra View Homes Retirement Community, and I’m very grateful for the care they receive. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always aware of what is going on with my parents’ needs. They communicate with me regularly about their progress, which gives me great peace of mind, especially since I visit often and can see firsthand how well they are cared for. I also appreciate the activities offered and the library available for residents to enjoy books and stay engaged. Whenever I have questions, the staff is knowledgeable and willing to help. It’s comforting to know my parents are in a caring and supportive environment.

I want to recognize how incredibly helpful and dedicated the staff are at this senior living community. They consistently go above and beyond, showing patience, kindness, and professionalism in everything they do. It’s clear they truly care about the residents and work hard to create a positive environment. However, it can be disheartening to see how some residents treat the staff. There are times when employees are met with unnecessary rudeness or difficult behavior, even when they are simply trying to help. It’s important to remember that respect goes both ways. I also think this kind of environment can impact the overall community experience—when staff are treated poorly, it may limit the extra things they’re able or motivated to do, like organizing special events or going the extra mile for certain residents. The staff deserve appreciation and respect for all the effort they put in every day. Overall, the staff are truly the heart of this place, and they make a meaningful difference despite the challenges they sometimes face.

My mother was here years ago and it was such an amazing time. The staff was amazing, caring, and understanding. I told my kids this was a community I would love to be a part of one day. Things have changed so much since then. I go to visit multiple friends who I've grown up with and so much changed. The gardens used to be so beautiful. My mother loved the walks threw the gardens. Now its full of weeds and looks unkempt. The towers were such a beautiful space and always cleaned. Now they have housekeepers acting as care aids with no medical knowledge. How is it appropriate for an employee to tell their residents its safer to stay in the apartment with their help than to go to the hospital side where they just kill you. My mother had a wonderful time there and the care was great. They just care about getting paid. There's no need to be having personal parties or lunches for only certain residents because they pay you off books. The Spring Sale was nothing but a scam. Asking residents on fixed incomes to donate items to sell and put money back into the facility and never have the sale is ridiculous. The communication is horrible. Some staff is amazing and wonderful; others speak a different language in front of you and ignore you. They just sit on their desk and ignore you. No hospilaty, not even a friendly smile. They act like its such a neusouns to bother them or ask a question. This used to be where I wanted to grow old and not be such trouble for my family. Now in not sure I would want to be a part of it at all. Administration is aware of a lot of the problems, they just turn a blind eye. Do better.

My grandfather stayed in assisted living at Sierra View and had an excellent experience. He continually praised the staff for their compassionate care and the food for its generous proportions.
