Do NOT allow your family member to live here, at least not the assisted living part. We moved my mother out because she was choking and pressed her emergency button and no one came. No one at all. It was a good thing the choking spell passed. I heard that other people are allowed to suffer because nurses don't care and don't answer emergency calls.

I don’t know much about it but I just helped my aunt move in today. Everybody was really friendly and it looks like a nice environment. Hope it works out for my wonderful aunt.

I will never let my parent live here again. During the summers there are infestations of bugs coming in through the air conditioners in everyone's living rooms. Nursing staff doesn't care about dispensing medications on time at all. I had my parent on a set schedule of taking her medicines at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.. Within two weeks they were giving her medications sparatically every two hours, even waking her up at night to take something. She started ending up in the hospital repeatedly and nobody would give her the medications for the nights she was back in her apartment. Even if I begged with the night nurse, all I got was attitude and a "Well, she's not getting her medications". Straight out of the hospital and no routine medicine!! Now as far as food goes, the kitchen staff has tried to charge people $3 for a salad when it's supposed to be included, they have repeatedly quit, some days the residents only got a sandwich for dinner. On days they have staff meetings, no meals are served. Some meals weren't even senior friendly, like a chicken burrito where the chunks were big and hard to chew, like they had freezer burn. Within months my mother's health declined and she ended up in a nursing home. She is thankfully back at 100% now. It's all smoke and mirrors in this place...Oh and the bus trips to the store, they are unsupervised and left at the location for two hours!! Please, do not consider this place.
