The folks here are great. Deena was extraordinary helping mom celebrate her 89th birthday. She went over and above in her efforts. I had great communication with Freida in the social services office. Definitely had some challenges in dealing with the business office. I did find out that this facility will not work with you on Tri-Care For Life as a primary insurance once Medicare runs out. Only as a secondary insurance source. There were numerous challenges for me regarding communication within and outside the facility.

Solaris is one of the few facilities that truly stands out. From the exceptional upkeep and cleanliness of the facility to the outstanding level of care provided, everything is handled with excellence. The staff is amazing—always professional, compassionate, attentive, and willing to go above and beyond for residents and their families. The facility is well-maintained, sanitary, welcoming, and reflects a genuine commitment to quality care. It is clear that the team takes pride in what they do, creating a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. I highly recommend Solaris to anyone seeking a facility that values both exceptional care and respect for those they serve.

The staff at this assisted living facility truly go above and beyond to provide compassionate, attentive care. From the moment you walk in, the environment feels warm, clean, and welcoming. The caregivers are patient, respectful, and genuinely invested in the well-being of residents. Communication is consistent and clear, any questions or concerns I had were answered and addressed. My grandmother has been in the best care since arriving. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care for their family members.

My grandmother has been a resident at Island Lake for the past year. We’re always welcomed with a smile by Melina at the reception desk. My grandmother recently had her 95th birthday party at the center. The staff went above and beyond to make it a special day for her. Dena, the activity coordinator was exceptional!! I would also like to recognize outstanding care from her nursing assistant (Maurice), nurse (Bernadette)and nurse manager (Vicki).
