I am very thankful that we found Iris Memory Care of NW Oklahoma City for my mom. It was a difficult time for our family when her care needs exceeded what we could provide, and we were unsure where to turn. From first contact, Iris was responsive, informative, and caring. Laura was extremely helpful from the beginning. She set up a tour and answered every question we had.

Iris specializes in memory care, and it shows. Residents are treated with dignity, compassion, and love. Tonja, the wellness director in my mother's building, has clearly found her purpose. She genuinely cares for the residents, takes the time to understand who they are, and makes real connections with them.

When I visited my mom after her first two weeks, she could not stop talking about how well she was being treated. She called Iris "top notch." She said things like "isn't it peaceful here" and "they treat you so well here." Hearing that from her gave our family enormous comfort.

My mom's stay was short. Her condition declined, she moved to comfort care with hospice, and she passed a few weeks after moving in. The staff at Iris was wonderful throughout, providing consistent care, support, and compassion during the hardest days. I wish we had more time with her, and I wish she had more time to enjoy Iris. I take comfort in knowing her battle with this disease ended in a place worthy of her.

I will miss the other residents I connected with, especially Sue and my buddy Joel. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, I highly recommend Iris.
