To anyone who loves their loved ones DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. Staff are lazy and only there for a paycheck. Care given to patients is unacceptable . I witnessed one patient letting himself out the front doors in his wheelchair and staff was unaware until my daughter let them. Another patient was screaming for food. Makes no sense that this place is still open! They over medicated my loved one. I pray for karma to this place.

I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before placing a loved one at Heritage at Brandon’s Place. I was told they could provide physical therapy for my mom, but the entire time she was there, she never saw anyone for therapy—not once. That alone felt completely dishonest. Communication was another major issue. I made numerous calls and left messages trying to reach the administrator and social worker, and never received a response. It felt like once my mom was admitted, no one cared anymore. Her care was unacceptable. She developed bed sores from being left sitting in diapers for extended periods, and I was even the one having to purchase basic supplies myself. On top of that, her daily medications were not given on time, which is incredibly concerning and dangerous. Overall, this facility made promises they did not keep and failed to provide even basic standards of care. It felt more like they were focused on getting residents in than actually taking care of them. I would not recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their loved one’s well-being. I would not even recommend the 1 star but that is the only option so I could leave this review. Steer clear from this place and the people. I did finally recieve a call from the social worker and day after we took my mom home, asking if there was anything she could help do, that is a joke. You could have helped my mom while she was there getting back on her feet. The only reason my mom was admitted is because she could not stand or walk due to being in a hospital bed for the last five months. Her only reason for being there was physical therapy which she never recieved any of. If you care about your loved ones at all DO NOT let them be admitted to this place. I can not believe people in this profession treat human beings the way they were treated.

Terrible food always cold. The nurses are very hard to get along with. The staff that ran the place they seem to be okay. There's one or two that is top notch. Other than that there's no more. I would never give this place more than two stars. I would strongly suggest you shop around. I've been here 7 months and nothing has improved.

Tried to get my mom in after her stroke, and they denied her because she had behavioral issues at the beginning of her recovery. After a month of doing well, they still denied her and said they’d never consider her again. I don’t usually leave ratings, but I think it speaks to their character, and it’s horrible to hold something like against a recovering stroke patient, with anxiety. Thank God there are more caring facilities out here!!!

Stayed there one night after a surgery. When I pressed the button for assistance it was over a half hour before someone came to my room. When she came in she angrily snapped at me "Did you know your call button was on?" I told her I was told that dinner would be at 530 p.m., and it was close to seven. She remarked that they weren't to my room yet (which I already knew). She said they were on their way and that I could've gone to the kitchen myself. I'd had surgery and was medicated, but apparently she didn't care. About half an hour later someone came in with two slices of white bread and a slice of processed lunch meat and some kind of drink. I limped my way to the kitchen but it was closed. I asked a different nurse to change my bandages because they'd already bled through my clothes twice and were bloody and saturated. She said she didn't do that kind of work, but there might be someone there the next day. I only saw two people working there that night, sitting at the nurse's station. I slept in bloody clothes. Fortunately, the next day there was one kind person working -and she changed my bandages with care. She said someone had died there the night before. I wasn't surprised. I wondered if they had pressed their call button for help. Breakfast was slop. I will NEVER go to this place again. It severely saddened me to see that people were living there.
