I am pleased to report that my stay at Freedom Village was very pleasant! The nurses and other staff are all capable , compassionate and always come in my room with a smile and a nice greeting. The facility is immaculate which was very important to me. Everyone who took care of me, too many names to list, went far and above to make me comfortable. I have several new friends. Thank you for making me feel at home

The staff at Freedom Village is exceptional. Angel and the rest of the nursing staff is always on top of everything and makes sure the patients have what they need. The facility is much cleaner and well maintained than most other nursing facilities I have been inside. Also a top physical therapy team that actually cares about their patients. Always a positive experience here

We had a horrible experience here. First they accepted transfer from the hospital without having the med list or meds on hand needed. It took about 18 hours to get them. Then he was put in a room with no A/C, not fixed again for about 18 hours. Dietary needs were cardiac and diabetic. For 3 days we kept getting food delivered he could not eat. We raised the issue over and over and it never got resolved. The meds were not distributed on time which is necessary for his conditions. Lastly, no therapists in over the long weekend. So residents there for PT and OT sat with not treatments for 3 days. I'm quite sure they still charged our insurance full charge even though services was not provided. I spent 11 years in and out of other Skilled Nursing/Rehab places in this area with my parents, and they all stood well above this one. The biggest issue - yes, issues arise, but fix them. The issues we ran into and raised we were told over and over would be fixed and they were not. I give 2 stars because the nursing staff was very kind, but management was useless. Oh yes, no Leadership on over long weekend to be able to solve anything.

My mom received wonderful care and treatment at Freedom Village ( FV ) , as she was rehabbing after a serious medical event that had her stay10 days in a hospital prior to arriving at FV. We are very appreciative of all the wonderful care and treatment that she received from the nurses, Dr. Haider, the physical therapist, and the occupational therapist as well. We also received excellent assistance and communication from Kimgrace Hoikup, the Social Services director. All in all, we are grateful for the care and treatment she received!

We recently traveled to Florida from Ohio to find a skilled nursing facility for my husband’s 88 year old Mother. She can no longer care for herself and has dementia. We were absolutely lost on what to do for his dear sweet Mother, my Mother-In-Law. We were guided to Freedom Village through her PCP and what a blessing that was! We got her settled in and feel like she is in a wonderful facility and that she will be well cared for. We had a collective meeting with her social worker, director of nursing, OT, PT, dietician, and activities director. (I hope I am not leaving out anyone). That day of our meeting is when I could start breathing again. When we were told that Miss Kay could stay and be a resident with them, I was over joyed and it brought tears to my eyes. Every single care giver at Freedom Village has been so nice and caring. My husband and I felt like she was in very good hands, which made our 1200 mile trip back home a little easier knowing she will be well cared for! I am forever grateful to everyone at Freedom Village. Vicki Albritton
