My mother-in-love is currently a guest. We came from Texas to see her and we were quite impressed. The staff was super sweet, offered overnight accommodations, came and checked on her often. They offered education to us with options for her care. The area she is in smelled good and was clean. I am happy for her, thank you for that.

Some of the staff are friendly here, and seem compassionate. The brief stay my mother had while at Hoyt Nursing was a decent one, however, upon her death everything changed. I realize the urgency for vacancy at this establishment, but within the hour of being notified of my mother’s passing, all of her stuff was packed up and placed in a back hallway; within an hour. Upon arriving to Hoyt Nursing, I was greeted with condolences and warmth by a few staff members, and they even helped load my vehicle. The ugly parts of death regarding legal red tape paper work I loved me speaking with the a terribly rude lady named Jessica in billing who answered no basic questions, gave no sense of direction of who should contact her to get the information that’s needed, and offered no warmth or condolences, AND THEN told me the establishment would still be billing insurance, even though my mother had been in the hospital for since the beginning of September; this is only adding on additional stress in discomfort.

The food is amazing. I had lunch with a family member and it was awesome! The staff was amazing. Very friendly. I met the kitchen mgr (Cassie I think her name is) and she was an absolute dream! She listened to my concerns and she validated them (which I appreciated more than you will ever know). I wish everyone I encountered there had this level of compassion for the residents there!

My aunt was there and she loved the smiling faces this place isn’t perfect by far but we have been to a few places since she is a frequent flyer and the staff is friendly anything I needed to get done someone made sure of it someone always went to the dr appointments when I couldn’t make it which made me feel safe. It didn’t have a bad smell which some places we have been to did 😩. The food wasn’t half bad she is really picky but she ate it.I thought it was fine the three times I ate with her. Therapy was really good to her and when we were leaving, everyone made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Mom had to go to rehab for a short stay The transition was so easy because she loved the food so much. She even stayed longer than anticipated because she couldn’t get over how delicious the food was. She said it was made with God‘s hands. The staff was just amazing and the place was so very clean. I highly recommend Hoyt to any one who needs there loved one to have extra care.
