Janet was my Angel on wheels. She showed up in 25 minutes and stayed till my son passed away 6 hrs later, Cathy showed up and both stayed for hours. Thank you is not enough. I hope I'm lucky enough to have her when my time comes. She sent flowers and every time I get a whiff I'm reminded of her and her staff.

Janet gave us just what we needed--not a nurse, just a warm, caring, trustworthy friend to take Dad to run errands, do laundry, grocery shop, and help prepare meals. Because she was there for just a few hours each week, my visits with him were dedicated to more meaningful and enjoyable. I am forever grateful for Home Sweet Home Care & Services!

Janet and the people who work for and with Home Sweet Home are exceptional, caring human beings. Every person that came into our family’s home from this organization knew their job. They were kind, efficient, competent, and always professional. You could not do better than hiring this organization to work with your elderly family members. We were so fortunate to find Home Sweet Home at the time of my father’s declining health. They helped carry our family through his last year so my father could age gracefully, at home, with his dignity. At the end, as he went through the dying process, we were especially grateful for Janet’s experience, gentleness and guidance. We are so fortunate that Home Sweet Home provides the service so desperately needed in south Central Iowa. This is one wonderful Organization.

Janet and her staff started providing cares for our father Jim starting in June 2021. She came in to the home with reliable and well qualified staff, so we as family felt comfort in knowing meals were eaten, laundry done and the home cleaned. Mom could be a wife not just a caregiver and we could be family. We still were very involved in Dr visits and health needs; but day to day things were covered. As we approached the final declines of health to death Janet along with Hospice helped us to understand stages of dying and what to expect next. It was a very difficult time but we as family with Janet’s assistance were able to surround dad in his home. It was his and mom’s wish to be in his home when he passed in January of 2022. Janet Webb helped us care for our father in his home from June 2021 until he passed away in January 2022. She had several caring helpers that treated my parents with loving care and respect. During the final days when my father needed 24 care, Janet herself, was there for us. She made it her priority to give my father dignity and comfort and caregiving during his final hours allowing our family to gather and spend time talking and sharing moments together with him. I was concerned that we would not be able to have Dad at home during these final days as it would be too difficult for us to provide the care that he needed and deserved. Janet allowed us to abide by his wishes to pass away at home with his family at his side.
