Beware of Home Care Assistance. Our family began a contract with HCA on November 7th for caregiving assistance for my elderly grandmother. On November 10th, a caregiver was assigned. On her first night she stole 5 sentimental rings from my grandparents. HCA guaranteed that they do background checks on all employees but with a simple google search you can find this employees prior arrests. After doing a police report the officer told us about all her prior charges (most being theft) and he stated whatever company this was, they dropped the ball. Luckily, my mother was able to recover all stolen items herself. The company stated in their reply to her review that they recovered items. That is false. My mother was in contact with the caregiver and was able to get them returned. Please beware. The elderly population is so vulnerable. It’s really unfortunate to put your trust in a company to then be taken advantage of.

This has been, and still is a phenomenal assistance for me. Just the companionship alone has been such a motivating factor for me feeling truly cared about and not a burden. Ms. Sadie was caring care giver and motivator. Helping me to want to get out of bed even Helping me to go outside on my porch and enjoy the simple things of life. That alone helped me with any depression issues that was trying to make it's way in. I highly appreciate and recommend there services for you or a loved one. Thank you Home Care Assistance!!!

We are very pleased with HCA's prompt and helpful solution to our need for a caregiver for our elderly uncle. Ms. D was recommended for our situation and has been a perfect fit. She is very caring, patient, and positive. My uncle looks forward to every visit! It has benefitted us as well, as she helps him with daily tasks that we had been doing. We highly recommend their services to anyone in need. They are very professional and in tune with the care needed by each individual client.

I engaged Home Care Assistance of Huntsville AL to help care for my husband. The caregivers provided by Tommy and Gleria were compassionate, loving and well qualified. They did everything requested as well as going beyond to make sure my husband was well cared for. Their care for him allowed me to handle other matters. They watched intently whenever physical therapy came so that they could continue the exercises on the days PT wasn't scheduled. Our whole family was very pleased with the quality of the people as well as the willingness they have shown to help us during this difficult time. We are delighted that my husband has improved enough that we no longer need their assistance but we will miss seeing their loving and smiling faces each day. Should we find ourselves in need again, I will definitely engage them once again to assist us.
