The food that is provided for the elderly residents, I might consider feeding to a dog, if I did not like the dog. Elderly couples were seen on many occasions attempting to push the spouse in a wheelchair with the walker used by the other spouse, with no staff around to assist. If you live someone, don't send them here.

A year and a half ago I had to make the decision of placing my mother into assisted living that also caters to memory care, as, she is diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's. I did my research and toured all the facilities around B.C. and Kalamazoo. This place came highly recommended. And it was the correct choice. My mum loves it. I actually see her bettering herself and keeping those neurons firing. As well as, her physical health. And she made many friends that keep her going. The staff there are incredible. Every one of them. They really go the extra mile for the folks with them. The activities, food, trips,facility..all top notch. I had to move mum recently to the building next door, which is memory care. The staff helped move her and set her up and make her feel welcome and safe. I couldn't be more pleased and elated with this place. Cudos crew. You should be proud of yourselves.

My mother in law was here at Heritage Assisted Living for 12 weeks. Although her stay was less than we had hoped, she truly appreciated it there. She enjoyed her meals and the friends she made at dinner. She always said how kind and caring all of the staff were. I could tell they had caring staff when we admitted her. All staff looks you in the eye and greets you with a smile. I highly recommend this Assisted Living Community if you are looking for a place for your loved one.

When you walk into Heritage Assisted Living you can feel the homeyness and kindness right away. You are always greeting with kind words and a smile. My mother is very satisfied here now even though she was hesitant to leave her home. Mom has stated, “everyone here (the employees) is very, very nice. This speaks volumes to me and the rest of our family. You can tell the other residents all love it there as well. ❤️

Heritage Assisted Living has been an amazing place for our family. Eighteen months ago we needed additional assistance for my mother who was suffering from Alzheimer’s and had been physically deteriorating. Once she moved in, her life took a change for the better and we had the mother we had always known back! The staff has truly been supportive, loving and kind. She recently passed and our family recalled that God and The Heritage provided additional time we wouldn’t have had otherwise.
