My Mom is in long term care here and my opinion is this is the Best Place in Hendersonville! There is never bad smells in the hallways, the Nurses are the Great, the CNA's are absolutely wonderful. My mom always has her showers on the days they are scheduled for, her bed is always made and both the CNA's and Nurses are very attentive to her needs! The cleaning staff, you couldn't ask for better. I worked as a CNA, CNA2 and a Med Aide for 28 years and I've seen it all. When I tell you this Place is the Best, I'm not exaggerating! I'm so Thankful My Mom Is Here!

Visit your family /loved ones every chance you can. This was my first time visiting this nursing home and found my family member stating she had been buzzing for help. I asked the desk for wash clothes and towels and started helping clean my family member, when I was almost done the CNA came in the room and was not happy with me doing the washing up of the my family member. I thought I was helping, but she saw it differently. Nursing homes can be understaffed, but I have never had a CNA get mad because I was helping. I continued helping by making the bed and the nursing assistant continued making negative comments. I reported this incident and have been told that they are looking into this incident. What is most important is Patient care and comfort. But I questioned, when guest are spoken to so negatively, I hope patients are not on the receiving that negativity.

These folks, this team, works like a well oiled machine. They help not only their clients but family members as well. It is the cleanest facility around, never saturated in perfumy deodorizers, but is just clean. The employee turnover rate is very low so that speaks volumes about how they treat their employees and patients. Our personal experience has been outstanding. Are there more expensive places with better buildings? Sure, but you wont find better quality of care and compassion than here for someone you love. They just want the best for those in their later years of life and we are grateful for them.

From my family's experience with our dear one there for many weeks, it's hard to know where to begin. His care was more than professional throughout; it was loving, personal, and perceptive. He was treated with utmost respect on his worst days. Not only was he cared for, but the staff was concerned with us and our needs and feelings. There are too many examples for this space, too many names to name here. Just know that if I am ever in the terrible condition my dear partner was when HHR welcomed and loved him, this is where I want to be.

I’d like to know which nurse told my grandmother after she asked for help to use the bathroom to piss on herself after having open heart surgery a week ago. I don’t know who runs this facility and for the nurse management to tell my family member “with older people you have to be pushy” is not someone that needs to be in the rehab facility. Nurse management did not mention a sorry or nothing. Also reported they don’t keep track of what nurses go in and out of rooms. Maybe a call will get y’all to do right by the people that come in and out of there.
