Being in the medical profession for over 30 years this facility shook me to my core. Call lights kept out of reach "on purpose ", or rarely answered if within reach. Signed out my family member, rehabbed 100 percent better with visiting nurses and rehab.

I recently transferred my mother to this facility and from day 1 we noticed a big difference in care and attention to detail with the residents. My mothers clothes, hair and nails are clean and regularly done without having to ask. She has also gained 3 lbs in 1 month which is fantastic. The staff is friendly and considerate of our loved one needs, wants and treat her with respect. Hellenic continues to provide quality care for our loved ones. They are always attentive to the patients needs and check with families on best course of action when events occur.

The place is very clean. The cleaning people are always on the move, unlike a couple of the aides who sit around, no smiles, ever, on their phones. I think there is would benefit from additional patient care training, and how to manage their time. A majority of the aides are good. A few of the nurses on my mother’s floor are excellent and should be commended for their caring and compassion. The food is good and the baking is excellent. The most important thing is that my mom is happy there. She is in the beginning stages of dementia needs a bit of personal hygiene care. I think the aides could do more to help her with that.

My mother has been there a week to rehab from pneumonia and can't wait to get her out of there!! call lights go unanswered!! My mother waited till midnight one night for help, then SHE went to find someone, STAFF was asleep with 2 chairs put together!! Place is old , tiny depressing rooms, the CNA's she had were uncompassionate and rough!! her first day there she was in respiratory distress and the CNA said she would get someone and never returned!!!!! Thank goodness we arrived and asked for help!! What an absolute disgrace.

My aunt has been a resident at Hellenic for two years. The staff is wonderful and nurturing. Every time I visit, it is always very clean and presentable. The staff are respectable and understanding. The Director is approachable and very professional. From the start of her stay Hellenic eased our anxiety from the very with their consistency in treatment and care. There is a sense of family at Hellenic nursing. My aunt gets her hair and nails done are on a regular basis. Grooming and hygiene is very important to my family. Elders are put in nursing homes not always by choice. Hellenic is like some typical nursing homes that residences remain soiled for long periods of time. Our aging adults important to their family’s circles. It is not a place to just to forget your love ones. Thank Hellenic for your nurturing environment and care.
