Do NOT leave your loved one here. Adventist Hospital forced ours into this facility directly from the ER, claiming they "don't deal with dementia"—even though he was in severe unmanaged pain.

Here is the reality of this facility:

False Advertising & Staffing: They advertise having a Nurse on duty, but every single time we asked, staff admitted there is no Nurse present. There is no one on-site qualified to handle basic wound care.

Neglect & Lack of Care: No onsite Nurse. No one to handle basic wound care. No one assists residents with basic needs. They sit in soiled diapers for so long they get horrible diaper rash. We watched a resident quietly plead for help going to the bathroom for over 30 minutes with zero awareness from staff. We actually had to find someone to assist. We also had to step in ourselves just to give our loved one food/hydration.

Filthy, Unsafe Environment: The facility smells strongly of old, stale urine. I saw spiders in the resident rooms. Pillowcases had some sort of red/brown dried fluid spotted all over them. These were supposedly fresh from laundry.

Unbearable Conditions: A loud, high-pitched alarm goes off constantly—staff seem so desensitized to it that they ignore it, but it is deafening and distressing.

Visiting hospice staff was so alarmed by things they had to call their boss.

This place is unsafe and vulnerable residents are left to suffer. I wonder how many residents don't have any visitors so no one is aware of the conditions. At over $600/day, please look elsewhere.
