After a hospitalization for a stroke and surgery, Harrogate was an exceptional place for rehab and recovery for my husband Michael who also suffers from dementia. Patience and encouragement were given by all members of the team, administrative and hands on day-to-day folks. PT had Michael up and moving right away with excellent results. The variety of activities included group games (wheel of fortune), sing along and having time to sit in the garden were good for the body and the mind. Thanks Giannna and Pamela. There were many individuals that contributed to Mike's successful stay at Harrogate! Thank You All! Especially Lisa for making the transitions easy-peasy!

The staff is very friendly, and the place is clean. I’ve been coming here for almost two years and have had a very welcoming experience. HR usually takes great care of us and our needs. She makes sure I’m checked in and out smoothly while making me feel comfortable. I’ve also seen the most progress at this office compared to other facilities I’ve worked with before. Overall, I would recommend it.

My goodness ~ Harrogate Senior Living of Lakewood, NJ, USA. I must admit scary hospital situation with my Mom. Then on to rehab - oh geeze. ** We selected Harrogate and what a fantastic place and organization and people. Lisa, Mike, Kelly, Jillian and the entire professional team - my mom received white glove service and attention; our family was at ease and welcome to visit with any and all questions asked. ** Would I recommend Harrogate for your loved one? NO QUESTION: YES!!! THANK YOU, Harrogate. God bless.

I wanted to take the time to say thank you for all the work and compassion you and your staff at Harrogate exhibited to my mom and dad. My father had to have knee surgery and then subsequently needed to have around the clock antibiotics administered to him daily for 6 weeks. In turn my mom was also hospitalized at the same time because of her diabetes. The staff and administration at Harrogate were amazing tending to the needs of my mom and dad, additionally they were amazing at helping me navigate the aftercare challenges that were required when they were finally discharged. Their nursing staff is on point, respectful, caring, and extremely attune to the need of the residents. Melissa and Kelly were amazing at helping my family and I navigate the challenges of senior care and guiding us so that we had the best possible outcome. Thank you again for all your help and support. You do amazing work there!!!!

I am not a customer so I can not comment on the level of care or how good the food is but I can say what I saw during a sales pitch. The sales person was very vague about pricing claiming how complex it is that we must meet one on one. Okay, I get it I'm dumb but I can understand pricing ranges. Then the tour through low drop ceiling hall, to me it felt confining with the narrow hall. Every resident we encountered seemed genuinely happily and greeted us with "Welcome to Harrogate." It seemed sort of like the movie "Westworld." There is a fantastic indoor heated swimming pool with a spa. The rooms that we were shown would be adequate for anyone to happily live in. What turned me off the most is when we walked past the salad bar area and it had sticky tile floors. The residents seemed very happy and content living here, it just is not for me. Up Date 05-21-19 Just to be honestly fair I just read that Harrogate got one of the highest rating scores in the area.
