Many thanks to Keith Grady and his team for a very caring efficient handling of the recent snowstorm. Many team members including Keith himself spent the night at Applewood Village to make sure the residents were taken care of. Keith has developed a very caring, compassionate service oriented team of managers that Applewood is proud of.

My mom is a resident in the healthcare unit. All of the employees are so nice and attentive to her needs. She is well taken care of. I no longer need to worry about her safety.

My Mother died there. She was paying a ridiculous amount of money for it. When I visited her, she was dressed in sweat pants. She never even owned a pair and would have been appalled if she had been aware. She was always dressed like a proper English lady. Once I saw a bruise on her forehead. The last time I saw her she was put in a wheelchair and facing the wall I told my brother she would be gone within months from the way she looked and she was. I was living 3000 miles away. I often think about the shameful way she was treated and obvious neglect. Money means nothing unless you can be with these poor people constantly to watch how they are REALLY being treated. She was 90 so obviously she served no purpose there. Disgusting. Shameful

My wife’s grandmother is an Applewood resident. She says there is never a dull moment as there is a full calendar of programming, social activities, and events to choose from. Grandma said the residents and staff are very friendly and caring. Keith Grady and his staff make themselves visible and available. They care about the residents’ safety and well-being
