I would never accept this level of care or lack of for any of my loved ones. Food is mediocre, dining experience truly humbling with cracked tables, ants in the dining hall and paper plates. Overheard a family saying their dad lost 15 lbs because he wouldn’t eat. I don’t blame him. People sitting with food in front of them not touched, not one person attempted to help them. We saw another patient trying to help, their hands shaking and spilling it before it reached their mouth.Right next to a patients room who was calling out for over an hour before I finally flagged someone down as if they couldn’t hear it. We rarely recieved calls if anything happened when we’re not there, finding out when you see a cut or bruise . Rooms are small but otherwise fine. Not the cleanest but I only ever saw one woman cleaning.<br>Nurses were very sweet<br>We left shortly after

My husband was extremely pleased with the compassion and care he received while in respite care at Harmony Homes by the Bay. The staff attended to his needs with professionalism and cheerfulness. We are appreciative of his time at this care facility. It is well run.

My mother has been at Harmony Homes By the Bay for over 5 months now and everything has been great. Ashley was extremely helpful during the admission process not only with her knowledge but also her kindness, compassion and patience answering all my questions! Every single staff member has been kind & helpful. They make a real effort to get to know their residents and what their likes are in all areas of care & comfort. More than once the staff has gone above & beyond for my mom when an issue has occurred. Responses to any of my inquiries are always very timely. I can finally relax now knowing my mom is safe and well taken care of.
