My mother and father have both lived here. My mother had dementia before she passed and was treated with the greatest care and respect. I am very grateful for how they treated my mom and how they are taking care of my father.

Harborchase Riverwalk comes as close to perfect as possible for an assisted living / memory care facility. The director and EVERYONE down the line are simply the best. They are friendly, courteous, professional and truly care for their residents. My parents had lived in 2 other facilities before moving to Riverwalk, where they were able to live in a 2 bedroom for several years before mom passed. Riverwalk team was so helpful getting dad into a nice one bedroom at his own pace and continue to gently encourage him to the many activities and outings. When issues arise, and they will arise at any facility, the issues are resolved quickly. Last but not least, the food is excellent. They celebrate the holidays and most days in fun ways and I’m very thankful for Riverwalk and all they provide to help my dad do his best.

After much thought I’m going to write this review about the facility and it’s a rough place to put your loved one.<br><br>The head over nursing, Nick, came from another facility and after doing some research on him he has a reputation there that was has been more than accurate. He’s lazy, unreliable, and is more preoccupied with his personal wants/desires over the care of others.<br><br>The facility in memory care has had a broken bathroom for months and the residents have no bathroom to use since their rooms are locked. Multiple times I’ve seen these residents ask to use a bathroom since the main one is unable to be fixed. Mind you….each resident pays over 8k a month to live here. Fixing a bathroom wouldn’t cost over a couple hundred dollars.<br><br>Rooms are never truly cleaned. I had to clean behind their housekeeping and that’s after I showed them personally what needed to be cleaned.<br><br>It’s owned by an equity group and their only focus is the bottom line. I have pictures from the last year til the beginning of March 2026 to backup everything including recordings and emails. But I’ll keep it clean. If you’re considering placing a loved one here, feel free to consider other options.
