I’d give this place zero stars if I could. Management shady as hell. The only way you movin’ up to resident care coordinator is if you are personally involved with the executive director. And the crazy part? The one they put in charge don’t even know what she doing. Residents out here getting neglected ‘cause she clueless. She supposed to run the clinical team, but she don’t take responsibility for nothing. Meds get missed? Residents don’t get their medication? She act like it ain’t her problem. No accountability, no nothing. But at the end of the day, she stay protected ‘cause she got the boss on her side. Whole situation unprofessional and messed up.

Best facility for my Father. Staff is wonderful, although short staffed at times. The food is very nutritional & Better than most facilities. I never worried about his safety & was comfortable in knowing he was being cared for by compassionate staff members.

All I can say is don't put your loved one in their Memory Care. The care is deplorable and it is no fault of the staff. They did the best they could with the little support they were given. When my mother was moved there from the assisted side, they had two workers for sixteen patients. They had to dress, brush teeth, dress, make beds, change diapers, set out meals, clean up after meals, assist patients with going to the bathroom, wash them and clean their rooms. Impossible! When I brought to their attention that there was barf in the common seating area, it took three days and me complaining again for it to be cleaned up. Showed up at dinner time to find only one worker all by herself. So my daughter and I along with another resident family member helped to feed and clean up. I also helped one resident use the rest room, because there was no one else to help. When we entered the restroom by the eating area, it was filthy. I noticed that they were not eating the mashed potatoes, so I tasted my Moms, and it was sour. When I complained to the cook the next day, she said she put pineapple in the potatoes. What? Who does that? Many times my Moms pills were not given to her and caused her to be in pain, and no nurse to give them to her. I could go on and on, but the point is, this place is only a cash cow for the owner, and he cares not one bit about your loved ones care. When placing your parent anywhere, ask about the patient to caregiver ratio. Don't get caught up in the beautiful setting and sales pitch. They had some really good and caring workers when I first moved my Mom there. It was a brand new place, but over time I saw person after person leave, because they were overworked and had no support. I also found out that the State has written them up numerous times. I got my Mom out the day it was shut down because of COVID. Found a great and caring home care place in Ann Arbor. Two caregivers for five patients. They were loving and caring and the owner, I was told, opened these homes (actual home in a neighborhood) because he went through the same thing I went through. It was less money and the care was superior. There are good places out there, you just have to do your homework. I hope who reads this finds a good place for their loved one. Hugs!

Okkkkkkk. I'm not sure if they are paying people to leave them a good review. My family first hand know this place. The food is not good. It's hit or miss. The LPN very rarely is on the floor and knows the residence. The new administration person that was trying his hardest just left because he was always shot down by upper management. Upper management only cares about your loved ones bank accounts. There are maybe four or five AIDS on the floor right now that really care others it's just a paycheck. So please please really consider this place or any other place before you make a decision. It's tough when it comes to making decisions for your loved ones and the state really needs to change some laws for these facilities. And Brighton comfort Care which is the new name is still run by the same people and owner that Brighton Manor was run by.

This facility is Absolutely Gorgeous. From the open floor plan to the two Beautiful waterfalls and a BBQ with an outdoor eating area. You will think you are at a modern hotel not an Assisted Living facility. The Staff and Management are very caring and helpful every time I visit. They have the residents best interests at heart. Parking seemed to be the only issue I had but they probably didn't think they would grow so fast.
