Working with Alison & Pam at Gurnee Place Memory Care has been such a positive experience. Alison is incredibly passionate about serving seniors, and it shows in everything she does. From planning engaging resident activities to hosting outstanding community events, she puts her whole heart into creating meaningful experiences for residents and their families.<br><br>If you're looking for compassionate memory care in Gurnee, I highly recommend Gurnee Place. Alison and her team create a warm, supportive environment where residents are treated with kindness, respect, and dignity every day. Gurnee place has been amazing! I moved my dad there a few weeks ago and he’s been more engaged in activities and talking with people more than he has in the last 2 years. The staff is so kind and caring to him and so helpful to me. I’m so glad we found each other.

I had the pleasure of visiting this community and was truly impressed. Alison Dunskis is fantastic—she genuinely cares about the residents and brings so much compassion and dedication to her role. You can tell this is more than just a job for her.<br><br>Pam, the Executive Director, has incredible tenure, which really speaks to the consistency and quality of care within the community.<br><br>The environment feels warm and engaging, with a strong focus on activities and keeping residents involved, as well as including families. It’s clear there is a thoughtful approach to both care and quality of life.<br><br>A truly caring team and a welcoming community.

I have been able to visit residents and see first hand the attention to detail the staff has to make sure everyone is safe and supported. The admin is very easy to get ahold of and chat about care for your family & friends. Pam, Gabby, and Alison are all phenomenal and are a great place to start if you are looking for care for your loved ones!
