Wonderful place! Dad’s been here a week and everyone is very caring and attentive to his needs. He’s always well groomed and well taken care of! The team has been very communicative!! The facility is very well maintained and clean.

My sister is a patient here for rehab on her knee replacement. I really hesitated to come and visit because of the usual depressing, low energy of many nursing homes / rehabs. I was pleasantly surprised today. Welcoming staff, very available to help. No smell. Clean. Although it has a hospital setting, it did not have that sad & scary vibe I get at hospitals. Doesn’t hurt that windows are opened & there’s shades up letting the sunshine in, instead of artificial lights. Being across from the beach is a plus too The nurses & attendants on my sisters floor, which was the 4th floor were just lovely. Professional, attentive, and understanding. All in all, I think she picked a very suitable place

My mother has been by the facility 2 months now. We are so happy and blessed to be here. The facility takes care of her every need from top to bottom. 5 Star Service from the nursing staff and therapy team. Steve Schwartz, the administrator, from even before we got here went above and beyond to make sure every need was taken care of and every sensitivity was dealt with. We really appreciate the wonderful Grandell family! We highly recommend the facility to anyone who may be in need! Sherri Hardoon

My father stayed at the Grandell for seven weeks. The food was delicious, and the dietitians did a great job customizing his meals. The facility is extremely clean—there is always a member of the custodial staff checking supplies like paper towels and toilet paper, and addressing any cleaning needs. The nursing staff and aides are very attentive, with a good staff-to-patient ratio. The nurses are personable, knowledgeable, and consistently available. There are also plenty of doctors when needed. The administrative staff is always accessible and willing to accommodate each patient’s specific needs. The therapy teams (PT, OT, and SLP) exceeded our expectations. They genuinely seem to care about helping patients improve. The entertainment options were enjoyable as well. Overall, it felt more like staying in a hotel with rehab and nursing care than in a typical rehabilitation facility. We are very happy we chose the Grandell for my father’s care.

I can’t say enough good things about Grandel Nursing Home. From the moment I walked in, the facility stood out for how clean, organized, and well-maintained everything is. It immediately gave me a sense of comfort knowing my father-in-law would be in a safe and professional environment. What really sets this place apart is the staff and leadership. The team is incredibly attentive, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the residents. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The administrator was outstanding—very responsive, involved, and clearly committed to maintaining a high standard of care. My father-in-law was treated with dignity and respect every step of the way, and that meant a lot to me. Communication was consistent, and any questions or concerns I had were handled quickly and professionally. I also want to give a special mention to Clarence in rehab and Jennifer, the charge nurse. They were exceptional at their jobs and truly went above and beyond in the care they provided. Their attention, professionalism, and compassion made a real difference, and it did not go unnoticed. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the entire experience. It’s not easy trusting someone else with the care of a loved one, but Grandel made that decision much easier. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for quality care and a facility that truly goes above and beyond.
