This agency has no business having five stars. The only way I can believe those ratings is if the staff or workers are writing their own reviews. If they are, they must be using translator because many of the aides struggle to communicate in English. My experience has been terrible. First there was Leo, and that situation was awful. Then they replaced him with Maribel, who, in my experience, has repeatedly been dishonest. I've lost confidence in the agency because of the way situations have been handled. From what I've seen, it feels like their priority is collecting a paycheck rather than providing quality care. It often seems like they'll send anyone to sit with your loved one just to bill for the hours, instead of making sure the person is qualified, reliable, and able to communicate effectively. When you're trusting people to care for a vulnerable family member, that's simply not acceptable. In the process of looking for a different agency now sick of all the BS and you can think Maribel for losing this client. Previous review: The conduct and performance of the UniCare coordinator Leomar Rivas His behavior has been consistently unprofessional, and he does not appear to take his responsibilities seriously. There have been multiple instances where he has failed to properly manage cases and has shown a lack of concern for the well-being of elderly.
