I am from California and was recommended to speak to Lori. Lori had helped one of my friend’s Dad who moved into the Grand Villa.<br><br>I was in Clearwater to specifically visit Assisted Living facilities to choose one for my Mom. I had just come from one, which I was truly unhappy about. So, I decided to give Lori a call. She said I could come over now, which I was relieved to hear.<br><br>From the moment I walked into the establishment, I was warmly greeted and cared for.<br><br>Lori met with me and answered all of my questions and gave me such good advice and information when choosing an assisted living facility. At first we thought my Mom needed a higher level of nursing care than they provided. Lori still selflessly took the time to educate me on other facilities that could help her. She even took the time to contact one of them for me. Who does that?!?<br><br>On my way out the door, I met someone else who possibly solved how my Mom could stay there. I hope it works!

The Grand Villa – I am not even sure where to begin. Me being from another state and then told that my dad was being discharged in less than two weeks and had to find an assisted living for him. Lori from Grand Villa called me (the rehab called a few assisted living on my behalf) and she was absolutely incredible on the phone – she put me at ease and said everything will work out. I went on Friday, August 7th for a tour and was there over an hour. Everyone there was so nice and just wanted to help. I felt like part of the family – this is really what it is, just a big huge family.<br>I do want to say I did look at other facilities and nothing at all compared to Grand Villa. They helped me with everything from start to when my Dad was moved in on August 12th. We arrived with my Dad around 12:30pm on Wednesday, August 12th. I was pleasantly surprised by what they did. They had a sign welcoming my Dad and some of the people that worked at Grand Villa were there in the lobby clapping for him as he entered and walked onto the red carpet. I tear up when I think about this, it was just incredible.<br>Since we arrived around lunchtime Lori brought us to the dining room and gave us a table for 2 to each lunch. You actually get a menu to pick what you would like, just like going to a restaurant. And let me tell you the food was great!! I had a turkey burger and boy was that burger juicy. And my Dad enjoyed his meal as well.<br>I received business cards from quite of few people that work at Grand Villa, including the Executive Director! She said put my name and phone number in your phone. You can text me anytime you want, even on weekends.<br>My dad has been there 9 days so far so he is still getting used to everything. On Wednesday, August 19th Lori sent me a picture of my Dad eating dinner with other people at Grand Villa.<br>Thank you to everyone at Grand Villa. I am 100% that I picked the best place for my dad.

When our family had to move my mother after a terrible experience at another assisted living facility, we were understandably anxious and wanted to make sure her next home would be a positive one. From the moment we walked into Grand Villa Clearwater, we knew we had found something special.<br><br>Stoy went above and beyond to guide us through every step of the process. She helped us find the perfect apartment, and when moving day arrived, the staff literally rolled out a red carpet, welcomed my mom with applause, took photos, and made her feel like the guest of honor. After everything she had been through, that incredible welcome meant more to our family than words can express. It set the tone for what would be a truly wonderful experience.<br><br>What impressed me most was the people. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared. As I walked through the community, I noticed the staff knew the residents by name, and everyone seemed happy, engaged, and treated like family. It didn’t feel institutional—it felt like home.<br><br>I also can’t say enough about Dawn, the Executive Director. When my mother was hospitalized shortly after moving into Grand Villa, Dawn was incredibly compassionate and supportive. She went above and beyond to help our family during a very difficult and emotional time. Her kindness, guidance, and willingness to step in when we needed her most meant more than she’ll ever know. It’s rare to find leadership that is so genuinely invested in the well-being of residents and their families.<br><br>Sadly, my mother has since passed away. Not long afterward, her sister also needed assisted living, and there was never a question about where she should go. Grand Villa was our first choice. She is now living there and doing very well, and once again the experience has been exceptional.<br><br>The greatest gift Grand Villa has given me is peace of mind. I never have to wonder if my aunt is being cared for because I know she is surrounded by compassionate people who truly care.<br><br>If you’re looking for a smaller assisted living community with a warm, home-like atmosphere, I can’t recommend Grand Villa Clearwater enough. I toured several facilities before making our decision, and none of them came close to the feeling we had when we walked through the doors at Grand Villa. It truly is a special place.
