No communication and zero transparency. No empathy for the pain that my elder mother was going through. My mother”s wound got infected at this place where she was supposed to be taken care of and she developed a new wound while at their care. No one owned accountability I asked to speak to their pain specialist doctor and was told that he was out on vacations so her pain wasn’t managed while in there. She had to be hospitalized because of that.

Staff is very pleasant and helpful u enjoy going there Ana's, nurses etc all is very nice

Most horrible stay what so ever!!!! I was released from Kaiser Zion, on 6/23/26 and checked into Golden hills around 8 pm was taken by ambulance I was happy to be there and start my rehabilitation the next day, well when I got there I was taken to a room no one was there to show me what bed I was going to take, 20 minutes later a couple of people came into the room and told I was on the wrong bed they some info and my meds for safe keeping. I told them I was in pain (okay we will get you something for it that did not happen i ask several times and still nothing finally got my pain pill the next morning around 9. Food was disgusting bed very uncomfortable pillow flatter then flat I did request another pillow never got it, this place is not State of the art as it states on the brochure. I checked myself out the very next day, this place is horrible. I'm getting the proper care at home. I have a nurse coming out three times a week and physical therapy also and some family and friends are helping me out also.

I would not give a single star if I had the option. The nurses never answer the phone. The receptionist, Ines, is very kind and always tries to help by transferring calls, but the nursing station never answers. This facility does not seem to prioritize patient care. Every time patients have doctor's appointments, it feels like no one at the facility knows what is going on with their care. When I tried to speak with a nurse, someone answered and said, "I am not caring for this patient. Let me transfer you to their nurse." No healthcare facility should have an "it's not my patient" mentality. Patients deserve coordinated care and staff who are willing to help.
