Germantown Home

Germantown Home is a 180-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility in the Germantown area of Northwest Philadelphia, offering compassionate care in a home-like environment from the lobby to the top floor. The community focuses on residents' physical, social, and emotional well-being through the work of experienced nurses, therapists, and caring staff.

Care offerings include traditional skilled nursing care, hospice care, and both short- and long-term care. The community is also committed to caring for individuals with varying degrees of memory impairment, helping them stay connected to the world around them. Support is available for residents recovering from falls, broken bones, surgery, or pain related to chronic health conditions who need extra help before returning home.

Accommodations include climate-controlled large private and semi-private rooms, with nursing stations integrated on each floor for convenient access to care. Residents have access to spacious lounges and dining facilities, as well as central bathing rooms equipped with whirlpools.

On-site services and amenities include a barber and beauty salon, chapel and chaplain services, personal counseling, and support services designed to enhance person-to-person quality of care. For added security, exterior doors are equipped with security systems and a wander alarm system.

The community sits on a 13.5-acre, park-like campus in the heart of Northwest Philadelphia, easily accessible via major roadways and public transit, including SEPTA bus and regional rail lines. It is located within 8 miles of several hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Germantown Home also partners with external organizations to enrich its continuum of care with additional expertise and specialized programs, and offers a CNA scholarship program providing training, increased compensation, and career pathways, including opportunities to enroll in LPN or RN programs.
