This Facility needs the state to come out and inspect this place again for a number of things including C-Diff!! The one and only time I visited my dad here multiple residents had “Blow outs” and the whole Place smelled of Feces and Urine The house keepers used 1 bucket to clean it all up and then dumped bleach on the floors to kill the smell it was so overpowering I immediately got sick to my stomach and had to walk out of this facility and sit in the car. My family has been sick since then!!! My dad also had to AWOL from this place because the care was so bad he thought he might die! Urine bags overflowing not to mention if you can’t walk they will drop you let me repeat that THEY WILL DROP YOU! The food is disgusting The nurses don’t check on you and they do not have the proper meds or they run out and say “Oh well” Also for physical therapy they do not have Medical equipment to properly care for people that are paralyzed And let me add His stays at other Rehab's he has succeeded and did great this Rehab not so much! If you care about your loved ones Please don’t send them here! Anyways let’s Queue the Automated message from the “Director” of staff saying “I’m sorry your dads stay here wasn’t up to par please reach out so we can address this matter” Save it You don’t care because if you did the same complaint would stop coming up Change brings better results maybe start there first.

Had a very bad experience with the administrators of this facility. They lost my 96 year old father’s $800 glasses and promised to reimburse him but they have given us the run around for 5 months. I am so disappointed with our Gardnerville facility.

I would like to thank all the staff at the Health & Rehabilitation for taking care of my mom. She was the longest living resident that resided at the Center. (Over 8 years )! When I would call my mother, she always talked so highly of the staff and nurses. And when I would visit they allowed me to stay as long as I wanted. Kudos to all who were a part of my mom’s life and her well-being for all those years. She passed away on 7-26-2021 at the age of 94! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Ruth Geilenfeldt, her daughter

Why is zero stars not a.n option? Absolutely horrid care. If you care for your loved one please think twice. My father was supposed to be there for a week to two weeks and the lack of care was so astonishing that we removed him after a few days. He was left with in urine soaked sheets for hours and when they did change the sheets the left them next to his bed for a day and the stench was horrific. I tried to check on him daily and called no less than 50 times and never got through. My mother asked the nurse to check on some abnormal swelling and after telling her they would, they never did. They never addressed any concerns. My dad begged to leave and told us he would die if we left him so we took him home. He said he felt sorry for the other patients left there.
