I love where my 99yr Dad and my sister are living! All the staff are so kind and friendly. More importantly, they are personable and make an effort to get to know you. I come to visit my dad and sister almost every day and I bring my American shepherd with me cuz my dad and sis love him. The gal at the front desk, Tracy, makes us both feel so welcomed. One time I shared a picture I took of my dad and Jack (dog) and she took her personal time to make a print and frame it for me! I tear up with joy every time I look at it and my dad loves it too, and it means so much. The whole office staff is friendly also! What I appreciate the most is that each and every one of the staff are individuals, professional, fun, and welcoming! I was in management years ago and I love that this place isn't a "cookie cutter" employee type - they each bring something personable and unique to the community. It can't be easy at times working with elderly people - all are going through life changes and have bad days sometimes - I've seen some who can get kinda grumpy, but the love and care and respect they are shown is inspiring. From the dining hall, housekeeping, maintenance, activities, accounting, and management this whole staff is what makes Solista a 5 Star community home for so many. My dad feels safe and liked, and this really helps him come out of his shell. My sister has made so many friends there and that makes her happy to the point she loves volunteering her time to make the library beautiful! They have lots of options for activities and gatherings too. Lots of laughter, smiles, and conversations. I know I wrote a 'book', but really felt it was needed to tell others about the unique community Solista is, plus the employees - every single one of them - need to be thanked too. Hope they never change!

I’ve lived at Solista Carson for about 1 1/2 years and enjoy being here because of so many nice amenities. The grounds are lovely, you can walk around the building on a paved surface, we have outdoor BBQ’s in the summer, deers munching on the rose bushes and places outside to watch the world go by. Our shuttle bus takes us to doctors, dentists, pharmacies and shopping. The activities include yoga, a book club, pool and some others.
