My 5 star review is for the nurses, aides, activity folks, etc who care and show up. The people that are genuine lights in what can usually be a dark place. This nursing home is not without its issues and I probably have a list of complaints a mile long. But the people who care, CARE. My grandmother is going through end of life care and so many staff members go out of their way to visit with her and put a smile on her face, whether they are on the clock or not. The activity ladies always plan something fun for the residents, even with somewhat limited resources. The aides are always short, but do their best to run around for all call lights and the nurses are always short but are ALWAYS slinging meds, reassuring family members and taking care of their patients. I think my biggest complaint would be their ratios being off. There are never enough people on staff to do all that needs to be done and so, that is where care starts to fall through the cracks, especially after 5pm when most staff leaves for the day. Overall, 5 stars for the caring staff that show up for their residents in all the ways they can, even at their own expense. 💜

North Olmsted nursing and rehab is a great facility if you’re looking for family or friends to stay at! The staff is wonderful and friendly and always they always make sure you are well taken care of!
