I’m writing a review regarding the social worker, J.S. along with others Answering the phones at Fountain Springs nursing home in Rapid City South Dakota. When I would call back to try and leave a message for Miss JS the Social Worker at Fountain Springs nursing home in Rapid City South Dakota I would have to wait several minutes and I am. They would never give me a voicemail. I have also tried to reach out other other ways as well was accused of yelling at the person at Miss JS the Social Worker because I am upset and frustrated with this lack of communication, so yes, I might’ve raised my voice, but that’s why she’s a social worker and should be able to realize that all this person is upset and yes, I am upset. I’m upset that my dad is dying. Yes, I am upset that my kids grandpa is dying. Yes I’m upset and hurting because I’m already grieving the inevitable so pardon me if I raise my voice and that’s why I’m leaving an awful review right now for Fountain Springs Rapid City, South Dakota nursing home.

So let me start by saying if I wouldn’t have come here I wouldn’t be able to walk today. The Care I received here was higher than the five stars. The nursing staff caring for me was amazing physical therapy Jordan occupational therapy. Stephanie were. Outstanding. My nurse for most of the time was Deb and Hannah was also my nurse and I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names. But they are all above and beyond.. Even to the transport driver, Dirk, a very personable guy and got me where I needed to go on time. I can’t say enough about this care facility. It is always clean cared for and when you come in your greeted with a smile. I thank God, my wife found this place And that’s why I am going home Today able to walk thank you thank you thank you so very much. I wish I could articulate this better but this is what I’ve got. If anyone asks me about what I think about the best place in Rapid City to go to get this Care, I will certainly direct them to fountain Springs. May God bless the staff for what they did for me.

Do NOT ever place a loved one in this place. Even with a person going to swing Bed. All you'll get is lip service and apologizes. Or " if I knew I could of done something," even going up chain of command nothing is done " I apologize all I can do is apologize" such a mess of an organization. PT wasn't as promised. Even at discharged we were told how much time pt was for approved and that was amount was never given

The people that work a Fountain Springs are hard working, caring, passionate about their patience. The place was clean and well maintained. The FS has a chaplain that comes in every Sunday morning and provides religious and church services a long with personal devotion times and religious hymns.<br>The staff that is in the Physical Therapy department is top-notch, the staff in PT not only provide the care and understanding on on getting you back to doing your exercises to regain your strength and mobility. The physical therapist also had me along with other people do things in the kitchen, the bathroom and laundry area so that when you go home, you will be the best suited for those situations at home. In the dining room area for where I was located, the staff was overwhelmingly helpful And polite. Other people and myself had a problem with some of the coleslaw that was being served they sent a representative from the kitchen to talk with me. The next time we were served coleslaw everybody at my table had seconds that’s how good it was. They resolve the problem with no issues. The person that sat beside me was a E7 in the Marine Corps and was a cook for 21 years. If they could just work on their vegetables, a little bit, a lot of them came out like mush. I did not prefer that and neither did anybody else at the table. I’m sure that problem can be resolved here in the future. My nurses, CNA‘s and cleaning staff were excellent. Thank you everyone at Fountain Springs for all of your help, Randy Armstrong
