Would be a 0 starr if possible!!! Elderly buy homes here to be independent until they pass!!! Most here are on social security with very stretched budgets!! First the management charges extremely high space rent, higher than most (shame on you) but in the 2 1/2 years of living here the rent has been increased twice, significantly, the last one effective Dec 1st, was an increase of $105.00 per month!!! Again we are talking seniors, who are just looking to live their lives out in a primary stress free environment!!! Well, DO NOT chose this place for yourselves or your parents!! I could go on about extra charges that for some reason our high space rent does not cover!! Water, sewer, electric for street lights, I know we need them, so ambulances can find us, but why do we have to pay extra, why does our extremely high rent not cover these fundamental expenses!! Also why don't the residents get a say on anything, from the clubhouse layout, to the random ice cream party, to what we can and can not leave in refrigerator!! I feel management feels we can not think for ourselves...be prepared to also paint and maintain your car port, the one you pay rent for, therefore landlord should be responsible for maintaining, not 60+old people climbing ladders and painting, shingling a carport!! Could continue, but this will most likely fall on deaf ears but before I leave this park, I need to say that most people here are great, and I am sad that this is how they are living their final years....shame on you Forrest Hills, and COMMON WEALTH!! SHAME!!! Do a comparison on other 55+ communities, ones who are not taking advantage of the elderly to line their pockets with bonuses for low maintenance cost.....just saying!!

In our search for a 55+ community, we drove through Forest Hills. In comparison to other parks with similar rent rates, I felt the grounds were not well maintained and most of the homes did not have much curb appeal. Not a deal breaker, but this park is not high on the list.

Some nice homes. 55+ commu ity. But I think the space rent is extremely high for the eminities. That's probably why there are a dozen homes up for sale. Elderly persons can't afford to keep paying higher and higher living expenses. Sometimes it's food and medicine OR Rent! Cut it out, greedy landlords!

Looking at open house Mobile Home units for sale. This park has several for sale. Space rent is $1,045 to $1,085 per month.
