I couldn't have been at a better place. Very clean and helpful. Good people. Kind hearted people who take their job as a calling. I have already shared my experience with family and friends.

I placed my loved one in this facility and regretted it instantly. He has been in other skilled nursing facilities and this one was the absolute worst. I chose it due to their close proximity to my home. In the end that was its only good thing because it allowed us to attend to him properly. The staff were inattentive to patients. One gentleman would scream for help because no one answered the call lights Another lady was yelling for help and no one came so I had to help both residents. My loved has left side weakness and needed assistance to go to the bathroom. He would hit the call light but no one would come. Since I lived close, he would call and we would go to the facility to take him to the restroom. It is only when one of us showed up then someone would come to the room with the ‘Oh, I was just on my way to answer his call lights.’ I know this place would be horrible on my loved one’s first morning, when his bed was soaked even though I specifically ask that a condom catheter be used so he would not have to get off the bed at night since he had surgery on his leg. Micah, the nurse, told me that they did not have that type of catheter even after I mention it was placed on him at this facility the night before. I had to get the D.O.N., Pheadra, who quickly located one and gave it to Micah. My loved one developed bedsore because he was left with urine soaked diapers for hours. The food: they never provided a diabetic meal, the food was tough and most times unappetizing so we would bring in breakfast, lunch and dinner. No one ever answers the phone especially after 3. There are so many other alarming things that happened while my loved one was there. There are a few good employees but the bad outweighs the good and I would not recommend this place to anyone. ***Update: The owner, in the message below, asked to be contacted to address my experience, but just like most of my experiences calling Burnet Bay....no answer.

Best staff ever. Quick and attentive. Food is good for a skilled nursing facility. Physical training was tough but they gave you breaks in between tasks. i have been to 5 different facilities in Baytown and this is by far the best.

Tell me what this look like? This is the 1st time I have ever been to this place and I have driven by 100's of times and I said to myself that looks like a nice place. Looks can be deceiving. One of the employees brought my friend dinner and said it was Salmon dinner. After she left I ask my friend if she/he wanted to eat and said yes so I removed the cover and friend couldn't bite a piece off so I tried to cut it with a fork and it still would not cut (China makes better plastic forks than this... very flimsy). I rip a piece off and said this can't be Salmon so my wife tried it and it was chicken. I looked at the receipt and saw the dinner plate was completely different than the receipt shows. All was brought to friend was 2 pcs-chicken strip, French fries, teaspoon of ketup, 1- cookie, unsweetened tea. That's it. I am very disappointed. I brought the receipt to front desk and as I was walking by other rooms the other residents had the same plate. The employee at front desk looked at receipt and said let me find out. I noticed another employees leaned over to another employee and whisper to her ear and I'm like okay something is up. The employee came back from kitchen and handed me 2 cookies and apologized. That's it nothing more. My friend did not eat the food. My friend said the day before and got chicken salad sandwich for dinner and it's not even on the menu. Its probably employee lunch and traded for a better lunch. I am very disappointed on how these nursing home/Rehabs treat their residents as far as the residents health when it comes to food. Friend also said the bed is very uncomfortable and one of the staff said all the mattresses are worn out. So as a friend I am seeking out legal matters on this and see what he gets out of it.
